As a visual art scholar, my research, practice, and purpose is focused on the intersection of art, education, and social justice with a particular interest in the practice of artivism.

I think art has the ability to build cultural empathy and challenge thinking in uniquely intellectual and emotional ways.

Protagonist

I love to find ways to meaningfully incorporate art into any event, program, activity, or discussion and demonstrate the value it has in pushing individual and group thinking.

Curator

Many of the exhibitions I have curated focus on using art as a catalyst for conversation, to increase awareness, and galvanize action.
